Arlington Heights library trustees Monday approved nearly $700,000 worth of bids to get their long-awaited stand-alone makerspace building in working order.Staff will be on hand to answer questions and offer help. The Library's Makerspace, Where People and Ideas Connect Need help with a design, or to use a new tool? Open Lab is a great time to work on personal or collaborative projects, get feedback, or try something new. Learn 3D Printing and also how to build a 3d printer. Makers are expected to abide by Makerspace Usage Guidelines and anyMakeOffices Arlingto. Visitors must always check in with Library staff within the makerspace, with their library card or photo ID. Before using makerspace equipment for the first time, users must complete Maker Waiver Form, present a valid library card, and a photo ID. The Makerspace is a place that has many creative machines designed to help you with any craft or hobby you want to embark on.Makers must be an APL cardholder.
